Aico Heat Alarm – Mains Powered with Battery Back-up
The heat sensor in this alarm is triggered at 58degreeC and is designed to detect heat build up from large flaming fires and therefore is suitable for use in kitchens and garages. It runs on 230V AC mains power and has a 9V PP3 Alkaline Battery back-up capable of lasting up to 4 years in standby mode and of powering the alarm for up to 2 years without mains power. The alarm gives a fire warning when adequate heat enters it. It is supplied with an easy-fit base that allows very quick and simple installation of the smoke alarm combined with simple alarm head removal and replacement. The Easi-fit base automatically connects both mains power and battery as the detector slides on. The alarm can be controlled remotely by either a Test Silence and Locate Switch (Ei1529RC) or a Manual Call Point (MCP401 RC). Using a RadioLink base unit (Ei168RC) the alarm can be connected to up to 20 other ‘RC’ alarms without the need for hard wiring by using radio frequency and can be wirelessly controlled using the Ei450 Alarm Controller. Such interconnectivity means that if a fire is detected by one alarm – all alarms will sound. 5 Year Manufacturer Guarantee.
